It is a great candidate for a restoration and is priced as such, IIRC there were less than models produced. Intent was to restore it for my wife but 3 kids eat up time and resources, plus she has a lead foot Garage kept, runs, drives and has a clean title and is insured with Hagerty.
Not registered at this time. I may consider trades with older jeep wrangler or GM truck, preferably manual transmission so he can learn to drive like I did. This is a survivor, original Turbo but it needs TLC. Will need tires before I would drive it on the road very far. It has the 4 wheel disc sport package, can't remember the package designation off hand.
Has non-working factory AC. Power windows work as I replaced one of the motors. T-tops need to be re-sealed and I think i have the kit for them. Roof liner is new in the box. There are cracks in the roof typical of T-top cars with out sub-frame connectors but the body is sound with little damage except the urethane nose. Floor has minor rust from past leaks on the T-top but it has no holes.
Yes I can trailer deliver it on a negotiated basis. Joined: Jun Mesquite, Tx. Joined: Jan Originally Posted by bigjoe Joined: Aug Forney, Tx. Does this have the intake where the turbo blows under the carburetor? Joined: Apr Originally Posted by BigPig.

That individuality combined with corporate policies limiting maximum displacement for different body styles to produce a multitude of different engines of very similar capacities and outputs.
Byfor instance, Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac each offered a cu. While Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Buick each had distinct small-block and big-block V8 engine lines, Pontiac really had only one. It had certain features in common with the contemporary small-block Chevy, such as rocker arms pivoting on studded ball joints rather than rocker shafts a feature that had actually been developed by Pontiac engineers and shared with Chevroletbut it had some significant internal differences.
It was also somewhat bigger and heavier than the Chevrolet engine, with greater growth potential. Grow the Strato-Streak did — from cubic inches 4, cc in to cu. Over the years, it was offered in a bewildering number of states of tune.
In highly tuned cu. In cu. The Pontiac V8 was a sturdy engine with considerable power potential, but it was on the porky side, particularly in its small-displacement versions. The was a good 70 pounds 32 kg heavier than a Chevrolet and more than pounds 46 kg heavier than the Ford cu.
By the time it was dropped inthe Tri-Power was rated gross horsepower kW with three Rochester 2GC two-throat carburetors. Not only is it powerful, the roar it makes when the front and rear carbs cut in is truly something to hear.
It was dropped after to comply with corporate rules banning multiple-carburetor engines on all GM vehicles, except for the Corvair and Corvette.
The Clean Air Act of had mandated a set of federal emissions standards that were slated to become progressively more stringent over the course of the decade. California had instituted the first pollution control rules back infollowed by the initial federal standards ofbut those rules had regulated smog-producing emissions unburned hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxide as a percentage of the exhaust volume, in parts per million.
The new rules were based on total emissions released measured, curiously, in grams per milewhich tended to favor smaller displacement engines. Under CAFE rules, Detroit could still sell big cars with big engines, but automakers were obliged to also sell more fuel-efficient vehicles, which meant smaller engines.
At Pontiac, engineers began a crash program to develop some less thirsty powerplants. Pontiac had had an innovative overhead-cam six in the late sixties, but it was canceled afterleaving a big cu. However, Pontiac leadership still very much wanted a small V8 of their own. A completely new, clean-sheet engine would have been ideal, but with the division simultaneously struggling with new federal safety rules, resources were stretched thin.
Back in the late sixties, Pontiac had done a great deal of work on a downsized version of the for racing use: the elusive cu. There were also cu. The Ram Air was a painstaking revamp of the Pontiacfeaturing a shorter deck height, a very short stroke, and many internal changes to improve breathing and reduce reciprocating mass. The produced impressive performance, at least at high speeds, but development delays and concerns about regulatory compliance meant that it was produced only in tiny numbers, none for street use.
Still, the project gave engineers some grounding in what could be done with the old Pontiac V8. The new version was just as thoroughly re-engineered as thebut with a very different set of design priorities. Where the Ram Air V had a reinforced block, massive ports, and a hefty forged crankshaft with four-bolt main bearings, the new engine had thinner cylinder walls and internal webs, conjoined intake ports i.
Inthe replaced the Oldsmobile as the standard V8 for most Pontiac models and a few Buicks. With a two-throat carburetor, it made a modest net horsepower kW — raised to hp kW in — and returned reasonable fuel economy if not great acceleration.Shrines are statues that the player can interact with to sacrifice something and receive a reward.

Literally every single time, I giveKoins to the Shrine. Honestly, the least I've given is 97, Anyway, I've givenKoins to the Shrine over and over again, at least 20 times, stupidly and every single time, I get 1 stupid augment. Then, I give it 99, and thankfully, it gives me something different. Seriously, if someone is donatingKoins, I feel like you should restrict the rewards to Elder Skins or even just Equipment, Netherrealm.
I love the game, and I love you, but it's just downright infuriating when I spend the worth of hard fights on towers on 1 Shrine donation just to get 1 augment for a character that I don't even use!!!
